Steps to Sync Google Drive
Follow the below process to sync your files to your computer.
Step 1: Install Backup and sync
If your already have google drive install it and it will auto replace.
After installation ends, it will ask to restart your PC. Its up to you that you restart your desktop or not. If you don’t want to restart keep everything running. It won’t effect anything.
If drive is already installed, Backup and sync automatically logs in to your mail account. Check if its not logged in, you can manually log in through Gmail.
After, that a small window will open. Click “got it” if it says, select the backup folders from your computer.
Step 2: Select folders that need to sync to google drive
Sync is simple just select the folders which you want to save and you are done. Yet there are three options available to choose from.
- Fist, Sync drive to this computer > select this option and it will sync google drive to computer.
- Second, Sync everything in drive > It will literally save and sync everything from the computer.
- Third, Sync only these folders > This option allows you to sync your favorite folders to your computer.
Step 3: Select other folder to Sync
Open preference > backup and sync. Then, Take a look at your “my computer” section there, and select the folders your want to sync. Select the options by ticking the box and press OK. Easy and Simple.
